Feb. 21st- Chapter X hosted a dinner for 10 members from Chapter P out of Charlottesville. The two clubs have a friendly mileage challenge and the loser fixes dinner. This year Chapter P logged the most miles (over 62,000) with Richard Carr logging over 21000 of the total.
Chapter X's winner was John Thorsten with over 14000 miles for the challenge period. **photos of the dinner are posted **

April 19th- T-CLOCK with Bedford Chapter V. Meet at Pizza place on Main St in Bedford at 1:30. At 3pm go to meeting place(St. John's Episcopal Church on Main Street for T-Clock and Hot dogs. Bring Cole Slaw , Baked Beans or Tater Salad.
April 18th- World's Largest Poker Run . Start and end at Roanoke Civic Center with first bikes out at 10:00 am. Sponsored by the Red Knights. Guiness Book of Records will be on hand to document.

May
May is Motorcycle Awareness Month. We will be doing something at the Roanoke Transportation Meuseum for a few hours and then go to our regular meeting.
May 23rd - Ride with Larry and Joanne with Pizza afterwards. Meet at Hardees in Salem, near exit 137. Kick Stands Up (KSU) @ 9:00 a.m. Be there early if you want to eat b-4 the ride.

June 6, plan on taking a ride after the meeting,
June 13th- the "Dam" ride. 8 Bikes and 2 cars and a dune buggy were led by Tony around the mountain and back country roads from Roanoke to Smith Mountain Dam. There we all enjoyed a picnic lunch and a visit to the visitors center. Our ride ended back in Roanoke at the Dairy Queen. Ride and Eat..the Chapter X motto. Great company , good food and a beautiful day......

June 27-Ride with Bob and Lil to Hillbilly Hideaway in Walnut Cove,NC. Meet at 2PM at Carolina Finance next to Clearbrook School on 220S(2nd light after parkway,turn right)

Meet at Hardee's in Salem .Kickstands up (KSU) at 9am. Ride to Hungry Mother State Park for Brunch/Lunch. We will make one pitstop in Wytheville at the Hess Truck stop.Pat and Bobby you can meet us there. We will travel part of the way down on RT 11. We will send out a separate e-mail with a copy of the menu.

8/8 - Rural Retreat dirt track racing -Carolina Clash. Contact Pat or Bobby for info. $20 admission. Some big name drivers. Racing starts at 9pm. Get there early for a good seat.
8/16 -ride with Lee and Julie- Meet at Hardees Troutville @11am- ride up to Bath County and end in Staunton.
8/22- Pat and Bobby's choice-ride to Shatley Springs ,overnite stay in Sparta
8/29-All Chapter Picnic in Richmond-Lee and Julie plan to go Can meet Lee and Julie Firday evening 8/28 6pm in Buchanan. Contact Lee or Julie for more info.

Sunday Nov 8th-Anyone interested in packing a picnic lunch and going for a ride...meet at Hardee's in Troutville by 11am. Destination yet to be decided...Douthat State Park and Goshin Pass were mentioned.
Friday November 27th - 3 laps at Charlotte Lowes Motor Speedway. 3 Laps for charity.
A few of us are planning on going down Friday and spending Friday nite at Residents Inn , Charlotte-Concord.
December
Christmas Party and Monthly Meeting Saturday December 5th at IOOF Lodge in Buchanan(same place as last year). Meet at 4PM -Eat at 4:30
Bring a covered dish and a drink.
To participate in the gift exchange,bring a $10~$12 gift for each member in your party.
Gift can be a gag gift.......
